Welcome to the Norwalk Early Childhood Center (NECC)!

11 Allen Road, Norwalk, CT 203-945-0320

The NECC program provides quality preschool experience that supports the development of each child through exciting academic, cognitive, emotional, language, physical, and creative learning activities. Using age-appropriate content and approaches, our expert staff applies strategies and techniques that incorporate Connecticut Early Learning and Development Standards (ELDS).

Our facility is a newly renovated, state-of-the art facility with 6 classrooms that are staffed by a certified teacher and classroom paraprofessional. In addition to our teachers, NECC is supported by Speech/Language Pathologists, School Psychologist, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapist, and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Our program is an inclusive program that is comprised of both typically developing children and children with special needs. NECC encourages all children’s growth and discovery through a language enriched program in a sensory-sensitive environment.

The NECC program also offers a daily arts program through a partnership with Arts For Healing, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing integrated music therapy and art therapy to students.
